Week 3 Waiver Wire Pickups: Sleepers Who May Still Be Available

Week 2 was ugly in the early slate with low-scoring games and QB injuries across the board. Things picked up through the afternoon but the typical surprises that make fantasy football so aggravating at times resurfaced. Touchdown vultures, mid-game injuries, and big-name duds were all present. Nevertheless, we move on to another week to taste the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat.

Waffle and Berry

Yum! Located on the farthest left corner of the store when you enter the main doors. Friendly service and delicious fresh waffles. There’s outdoor seating area and they can also pack the ice cream and whipped cream separately if you want to take away. Love the one with fresh sweet berries. If you take it to go, you can warm the waffles up in the oven and it’s just as good as if you eat it right there. Highly recommended!

The mysterious case of Lindsey Graham’s political transformation

during the 2015-2016 election cycle, Graham was one of Trump’s fiercest and most colorful critics, calling him a “nutjob” and a “jackass.” But he didn’t stop there. The same month Graham dropped out of the race, he told CNN, “You know how to make America great again? Tell Donald Trump to go to hell … He’s a race-baiting, xenophobic, religious bigot. He doesn’t represent my party. He doesn’t represent the values that the men and women who wear the uniform are fighting for.”

Andrews, M. – Bal (TE)

2021 fantasy player outlook for Mark Andrews, TE, Baltimore Ravens (6/23) Advice: Mark Andrews took a small step back in 2019, but he should still be drafted as top-five tight end in the first four rounds of your draft. Despite missing two weeks on the COVID-19 list, Andrews tied Marquise Brown for the team lead in receptions and was the only Raven besides Brown with more than 50 targets. Andrews not only dominates targets in Baltimore, but he’s been very efficient. His 8.9 yards per target ranks fifth amongst tight ends since he entered the league and his 8.5% touchdown rate trails only Jared Cook. The fact that he’s still just 25 years old gives Andrews an argument for the top spot amongst tight ends in Dynasty. (CBSSports.com)

Two-Round 2021 NFL Mock Draft: Washington trades up for QB; Bears, Saints target QBs in Round 2

We’re less than three weeks out from the actual draft and the closer we get to April 29 the more it feels like certain players will end up with certain teams. The top two selections feel as close to sure things as you’ll have this time of year, and the 49ers also appear set to take their quarterback of the future. After that, however, this draft feels, to quote Bruce Arians, color commentator, “wide-ass open.”

Texas lawmakers advance restrictive election bill

Texas lawmakers advanced a restrictive election bill out of a House committee Thursday morning despite major criticism from Democrats, corporations and voting rights advocates.

The legislation would impose criminal penalties for errors during the election process, such as making it a felony for an official to give a voter an absentee ballot application or solicit the submission of an application if the voter does not request it first.

The Rock Just Shared a Look at His Black Adam Chest and Triceps Workout

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is one of the busiest guys in Hollywood right now, dropping his own line of workout shoes, executive-producing a TV show based on his life, and of course, pursuing ever greater heights in his movie career. Johnson’s next big movie, the DC superhero flick Black Adam, is both a tentpole movie and a passion project for him; when he first announced he had been cast as the lead, he spoke about how much it meant to be playing the character.

Army leaders praise ‘superstar’ soldier after Sen. Ted Cruz criticizes her recruitment video

U.S. Army leaders rallied around a soldier featured in a recruitment video clip that Sen. Ted Cruz mocked as representative of an “emasculated military.”

Cruz, a Texas Republican, retweeted a video Thursday that featured Cpl. Emma Malonelord, an air defense system operator stationed in South Korea.

The original video, part of a five-part series called “The Calling,” showed an animated depiction of Malonelord’s life and the reasons why she joined the military.

The Trump administration has formally revised a proposal that would significantly restrict the type of research that can be used to draft environmental and public health regulations, a measure that experts say amounts to one of the government’s most far-reaching restrictions on science.

Trump calls for boycotts in response to boycotts over Georgia voter law

Former President Donald Trump joined the battle over Georgia’s recently-passed voting law and the reaction against it by Major League Baseball and major corporations Saturday, while also repeating his unfounded claim that the 2020 presidential election was stolen from him. Trump urged supporters to fight “WOKE CANCEL CULTURE” by boycotting the entities.

After ducking the question multiple times, Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) admitted Tuesday on Fox News that he spoke to then-President Donald Trump on Jan. 6, but he refused to disclose what they discussed.

Jordan, a staunch Trump ally, was rejected last week from joining the House select committee appointed to investigate the U.S. Capitol riot after his name was put forward by House Republican leadership.

2021 NFL Mock Draft Monday: Three-round mock draft with first-round trades

With the number of prospects that returned to school this year, this draft is even more crucial than previous years. Teams will have to hit on prospects early and find talent in the later rounds, where options will be even slimmer. Let’s dive into the first three rounds of the NFL Draft, with trades in the first round that will affect other rounds as well.

Jakobi Meyers continues to prove why he’s the Patriots’ No. 1 option at WR

Jakobi Meyers isn’t a household name, quite yet.

The third-year undrafted receiver began making noise his rookie year, but he really started lighting the field up in 2020. Meyers was the New England Patriots’ leading receiver with 59 receptions for 729 yards. He appeared in all 32 games during the first two seasons and he’s been available in the Patriots’ first two preseason games this year.
