Smith, J. – NE (TE)

2021 fantasy player outlook for Jonnu Smith, TE, New England Patriots (6/23) Advice: For about a day, it looked like Jonnu Smith might belong among the elites of the position after signing with the Patriots. The subsequent signing of Hunter Henry unfortunately dims his prospects quite a bit and pushes him back to the fringes of the starting TE tier instead. Smith is an electric playmaker with the ball in his hands, and a smart offense will find ways to get him the ball all over the field. He’s a threat to find the end zone whenever he touches it, a rare quality for a tight end. However, New England figures to be a pretty low-volume passing attack, and it’s not clear he’ll be more of a priority than Henry in the offense, which makes him a high-upside, low-floor tight end to target in the later rounds. Officers’ accounts put Trump’s praise for rioters in new context

One officer described how rioters attempted to gouge out his eye and called him a traitor as they sought to invade the Capitol. Another told of being smashed in a doorway and nearly crushed amid a “medieval” battle with a pro-Trump mob as he heard guttural screams of pain from fellow officers. A third said he was beaten unconscious and stunned repeatedly with a Taser as he pleaded with his assailants, “I have kids.” A fourth relayed how he was called a racist slur over and over again by intruders wearing “Make America Great Again” garb.

Rondale Moore Highlights

Purdue WR Rondale Moore
Sophomore 5’9 180 lbs

Rondale Moore took the world by storm in his college debut breaking the school’s all purpose yards record. After that impressive performance, he’s continued to show that it wasn’t all hype. Moore is one of the fastest, quickest & shiftiest players in the country. He’s a legit playmaker who people view as the next Tavon Austin, Reggie Bush, DeAnthony Thomas or Tyreek Hill, which is high praise for a college football player. Injuries prevented the country from watching this electric playmaker play a lot in 2019, so many people have forgotten about him. He opted out of the season then opted back in, but never really got back on track. His draft stock is one that will be fun to watch closely. He has the talent & play making ability of a 1st rounder, but he’s really only had one year of film of him being healthy. He will be a complete steal if he falls past the 2nd round.

Mark Brunell: 2021 Lions could surprise like 1996 Jaguars

Early in Mark Brunell’s playing career, the expectations for the mid-1990s Jacksonville Jaguars were exceedingly low. Coming off an expansion season in which the Jags won just four games with the first-time starting QB, no one predicted an AFC Championship run in 1996.
As he begins his pro coaching career in Detroit as quarterbacks coach, Brunell said the 2021 Lions remind him of that Jaguars team.

RB Travis Etienne – 2021 Combine/Draft Scout

Etienne worked out at Clemson’s on campus pro day Thursday and was timed at 4.41 in the 40-yard dash by NFL scouts. (Wisconsin’s Jonathan Taylor was the only running back faster at last year’s NFL Combine. He was drafted in the early second round.) The speedy Etienne said he thinks he’s worthy of being a first-round pick. “I’m one of the best skill guys in the draft. I’m able to do it all. I feel like I add that component to take teams to the next tier,” Etienne said. “I feel like me being in the game, I just possess a lot of things that are God-given that most guys don’t possess.”
Etienne, who was named an All-American in 2020, averaged 7.2 yards per carry over the course of his career. As a senior this past season he rushed for 914 yards and had 588 receiving yards. The Louisiana native, who played in an option offense in high school, leaves Clemson as a complete back who can beat you with a handoff, out of the backfield or on special teams. “You see on the film I’m able to be out there three downs,” Etienne said. “I’m able to play special teams. So just being able to impact the team each and every down I feel like is what makes me different and worthy of the first round.” – The State

Trump Cementing Legacy as the Pettiest Bitch the World Has Ever Known

Brown, M. – Bal (WR)

2021 fantasy player outlook for Marquise Brown, WR, Baltimore Ravens (6/23) Advice: Marquise Brown is best drafted in Round 8 or later as a boom-or-bust No. 3 wide receiver. The Ravens’ low pass volume means Brown is more valuable in non-PPR, but even there he’s been inconsistent. Brown has only topped 50 receiving yards in nine of 30 regular season games he’s played. That being said, he’s still just 24 years old and he’s entering his third year in the league, so there’s plenty of time for a breakout. In Dynasty, he’s a buy because of his youth and the potential he could end up in a bigger role down the road, but the Ravens’ addition of Rashod Bateman could spell real trouble for Brown in 2021. George Conway Urges ‘Criminal’ Probe Into Allegations Trump Attempted to ‘Coerce’ AG

Attorney George Conway called for a “criminal investigation” into former President Donald Trump over his alleged attempt to “coerce” acting Attorney General Jeffrey Rosen to declare that the 2020 election was “corrupt,” despite no evidence to support the claim.

Handwritten notes from a December phone call between Trump and Rosen said Trump told the acting attorney general to “just say the election was corrupt and leave the rest to me” and Republicans in Congress, the Associated Press reported at the end of July.

Conway, the husband of former Trump senior counselor Kellyanne Conway, argued in a Friday morning interview with MSNBC that this alleged action by Trump was criminal and amounted to attempted coercion of the Justice Department.

Texas lawmakers advance restrictive election bill

Texas lawmakers advanced a restrictive election bill out of a House committee Thursday morning despite major criticism from Democrats, corporations and voting rights advocates.

The legislation would impose criminal penalties for errors during the election process, such as making it a felony for an official to give a voter an absentee ballot application or solicit the submission of an application if the voter does not request it first.
