Fulgham, T. – Phi (WR)

2021 fantasy player outlook for Travis Fulgham, WR, Philadelphia Eagles (6/23) Advice: For a stretch of games in 2020, Travis Fulgham looked like a star Fantasy receiver — and a top receiver in the NFL. Then reality hit, and Fulgham returned to being a relative unknown. Which Fulgham will show up in 2021? The Eagles and Fantasy managers are anxious to find out, and Fulgham could have a prominent role this year. From Weeks 4-8 last season, Fulgham was amazing with five games in a row with at least 12 PPR points, including four touchdowns over that span. However, over his next eight games, Fulgham scored a combined 16 PPR points, and his playing time was limited. The Eagles might need Fulgham to play a big role this season behind rookie DeVonta Smith, and that’s something to keep an eye on training camp. Fulgham is worth speculating on with a late-round pick in all leagues. (

Donald Trump spying allegations: more likely useful idiot than Putin’s agent

The question of Donald Trump’s relationship with the Kremlin has surfaced once again, this time in a new book by veteran US journalist Craig Unger. The book, American Kompromat, claims that the former US commander-in-chief was cultivated as a Russian intelligence asset for more than four decades.

It’s not the first time this has been reported. In 2017 the former Moscow correspondent for The Guardian Luke Harding published a book: Collusion: Secret Meetings, Dirty Money, and How Russia Helped Donald Trump Win, which propounded roughly the same idea – that Trump had been courted for years after marrying his first wife, Ivana Zelnickova, a model from Czechoslovakia. And then there’s the Christopher Steele dossier, published in 2017 with its allegations of honey-trap blackmail and bizarre sexual practices. Although this came with a big “handle-with-care” caveat.

Dynasty Fantasy Football Tiers: A shortage of QB1s until we see more from Joe Burrow, Jalen Hurts, and others

For years the mantra about quarterback has remained the same: Just wait. There was so much talent and the gap between the best and the merely “good” was smaller than at other positions. Plus, it was extremely rare for the No. 1 quarterback to repeat in the following year. It was easy, in redraft at least, to just wait.

In Dynasty the equation has always been slightly different because quarterbacks have the longest careers, so locking up a young elite signal caller carried more value. That value has been enhanced over the past three years as a handful of quarterbacks have turned in elite performances before their 25th birthday.

Brown, M. – Bal (WR)

2021 fantasy player outlook for Marquise Brown, WR, Baltimore Ravens (6/23) Advice: Marquise Brown is best drafted in Round 8 or later as a boom-or-bust No. 3 wide receiver. The Ravens’ low pass volume means Brown is more valuable in non-PPR, but even there he’s been inconsistent. Brown has only topped 50 receiving yards in nine of 30 regular season games he’s played. That being said, he’s still just 24 years old and he’s entering his third year in the league, so there’s plenty of time for a breakout. In Dynasty, he’s a buy because of his youth and the potential he could end up in a bigger role down the road, but the Ravens’ addition of Rashod Bateman could spell real trouble for Brown in 2021. (

How brunch became political

On the night of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s death, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez told her millions of Instagram followers that even if Democratic nominee Biden were to win the presidency, as he eventually did, some things were going to have to change. “I’m sorry, you’re not going back to brunch,” she said. “We’re not going back to brunch.”

Shenault Jr., L. – Jax (WR)

2021 fantasy player outlook for Laviska Shenault Jr., WR, Jacksonville Jaguars (6/23) Advice: Shenault is a Fantasy industry darling and someone is going to make him a mid-round pick in every draft this season. Shenault had a fine rookie season, showcasing his unique skill set in an offense not particularly conducive to Fantasy production. He can do a bit of everything, but he’s especially dangerous with the ball in his hands, so you have to think coach Urban Meyer will find more ways to get him opportunities. And, with Trevor Lawrence at QB, the quality of passes he’s seeing should be quite a bit better. He’ll have to compete with D.J. Chark and Marvin Jones for targets, but it wouldn’t be too surprising if Shenault emerged as the No. 1 option rather quickly. If you can get Shenault as an upside play for your bench in the eighth or ninth round, he could prove to be one of the best values in Fantasy. (

U.S. prosecutors offering plea deals to allegedly violent Jan. 6 defendants

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – U.S. prosecutors are offering plea deals to a group of six people accused of forming a “shield wall” of stolen police equipment as they battled officers in the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, a federal prosecutor said on Thursday.

At a status hearing for six defendants facing felony riot charges, Assistant U.S. Attorney Melissa Jackson told U.S. District Judge Trevor McFadden that prosecutors had already made plea offers to some of the defendants and that all defendants would receive offers by later on Thursday.

Prosecutors allege in court documents the accused rioters used police riot shields and batons to attack uniformed officers guarding the Capitol and that crowd members could also be “overheard planning and implementing a rotation of rioters to have the ‘fresh’ rioters up front” to form a “shield wall” to stop police from using pepper spray.

Trump’s false election fraud claims fuel Michigan GOP meltdown

Joe Biden defeated Donald Trump by more than 150,000 votes in Michigan last November.

Trump and the Michigan Republican Party still aren’t over it.

The outcome — and the former president’s obsessive efforts to dispute it — has left the state party in disarray, raising questions about the GOP’s focus as it looks to unseat Democratic Gov. Gretchen Whitmer in a top battleground state next year.

“From a staff and leadership perspective, I don’t know that top-notch professionals would want to go into this quagmire,” said Jeff Timmer, a former Michigan GOP executive director who opposed Trump. “Unless you’re going to talk crazy talk, they don’t want you there.”
