Casino

The Casino is an IBA official cocktail made with gin, maraschino liqueur, orange bitters and fresh lemon juice.[1]

The cocktail first appears in the Savoy Cocktail Book compiled by Harry Craddock in 1930.[citation needed]

How To Make A Casino Cocktail

Ingredients

  1. GIN (OLD TOM)

    40 ml | 1 1/3 oz | 4 parts | 8/9 jiggers

  2. MARASCHINO

    10 ml | 1/3 oz | 1 parts | 2/9 jiggers

  3. LEMON JUICE

    10 ml | 1/3 oz | 1 parts | 2/9 jiggers

  4. ORANGE BITTERS

    2 dashes

Garnish

  1. Lemon Twist

  2. Maraschino Cherry


Directions

Pour all ingredients into shaker with ice cubes. Shake well. Strain into chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a lemon twist and a maraschino cherry. Serve without a straw.

Alcohol: Gin

Mix: Maraschino, Lemon Juice, Orange Bitters

Garnish: Lemon Twist, Maraschino Cherry

Drinkware: Cocktail Glass

Served: Straight up; without ice
