Every year there are a few players drafted in the back end of fantasy drafts that stumble into very productive fantasy players — making them valuable playoff winners or valuable trade pieces. If you are playing in dynasty leagues, these are often the players that separate the successful league franchises from the reliable bottom feeders.
Heading into the 2022 NFL fantasy season, here are some of our thoughts on some of our favorite late-round flyers.
GABRIEL DAVIS, WR (BUF)
Depending on how early or late you draft, Gabriel Davis’ ADP is certain to change drastically.
If you’re not familiar with who Gabriel Davis is he was the 2nd year wide receiver that dropped a historic 4 TD, 200+ yard game on the Kansas City Chiefs in the Divisional Round loss in last year’s playoffs. Davis swears to us that under the new playoff rules — he would have had 5 TDs.
According to reports coming out of the Buffalo Bills’ OTAs Gabriel Davis has not pumped the breaks on his progress and there’s no signs he plans on letting up on his efforts.
People around him have nothing but good things to say about him, his talent, and perhaps most importantly his maturity and effort — just listen to ex-teammate, Pro Bowler Emmanuel Sanders.

I’m not sure I’ve ever heard an ex-teammate crush so hard on a young developing player like Emmanuel Sanders does talking about Gabriel Davis in that clip from GMFB. It’s not just Sanders, though. Fellow UCF alum, Brandon Marshall shared similar praises about Gabriel Davis in March of 2020. And in the Buffalo organization the higher ups… well they agree.
Davis is now entering his 3rd year in the NFL after being drafted by the Buffalo Bills in 2020 with the 22nd pick in round 4. Emmanuel Sanders has departed and Gabriel Davis will be starting opposite Stefon Diggs. With Josh Allen at quarterback all the ingredients are in place for Gabriel Davis this year — making him a no-brainer must-grab in your fantasy draft this year in all fantasy formats.
Check the latest and most reliable ADP data before your draft and don’t miss out on the Gabriel Davis train in 2022.
