Five Easy Tequila Cocktails!
A lot of people have been asking me about how to use Tequila and so I thought a video on five great Tequila drinks was in order. As always I tried to vary the drinks to give the makers a good rounded tequila experience but since it is still summer and pretty hot, decided on some shaken cocktails, maybe volume 2 will be stirred drinks.
La Paloma Cocktail Recipe
LA PALOMA
- 1.5oz (45ml) Blanco Tequila
- .75oz (22.5ml) Lime Juice
- .5oz (15ml) Simple Syrup
- Top Mexican Squirt
- Grapefruit Twist/or Wheel
- Collins Glass
Infante Cocktail Recipe
INFANTE
- 2oz (60ml) Tequila
- .75oz (22.5ml) Lime Juice
- .75oz (22.5ml) Orgeat
- Shake/Strain over Big Rock Ice
- Garnish: Fresh Grated Nutmeg
Siesta Cocktail Recipe
SIESTA
- 1.5oz (45ml) Blanco Tequila
- .5oz (15ml) Lime Juice
- .5oz (15ml) Simple Syrup
- .5oz (15ml) Grapefruit Juice
- .5oz (15ml) Campari
- 2 dashes Angostura Bitters
- Shake/Strain/Coupe
Medicina Latina Cocktail Recipe
MEDICINA LATINA
- 2oz (60ml) Blanco Tequila
- .75oz (22.5ml) Lime Juice
- .375oz (11ml) Ginger Syrup
- .375oz (11ml) Honey Syrup
- .25oz (7.5ml) Float Mezcal
- Shake/Strain Rocks Glass
- Candied Ginger Garnish
Matador Cocktail Recipe
MATADOR
- 1.5ml (45ml) Blanco Tequila
- .75oz (22.5ml) Lime Juice
- 1oz (30ml) Pineapple Juice
- 1.5 tsp Green Chartreuse
- 1 tsp Agave
- Shake/Strain/Collins
- Garnish: Pineapple Frond/Lime Wheel
