Toa Luau
Over the years I have been to Luau’s at the big resorts, at the Polynesian Cultural Center, and at smaller venues. This one was by far the best! The family feeling with the quality and high energy show made it fun for our whole family which ranged from our three adult children to their three little ones. The four year old was engaged the whole time! Even with COVID regulations and masks it did not dampen the fun. Please don’t hesitate to go to this Luau. You won’t be disappointed.

Newly named among them are Nicolas Moncada, who was arrested by the FBI’s New York office, and Guy Reffitt, a Texan. GOP Congressman Mo Brooks asks court to grant him immunity from January 6 suit
Washington — Republican Congressman Mo Brooks of Alabama is asking a federal court to grant him immunity from a lawsuit alleging he incited the violence at the U.S. Capitol on January 6.
Brooks argued in a filing with the U.S. district court in the District of Columbia he was acting within the scope of his employment as a member of the House when he delivered a speech at a rally outside the White House on January 6.
After his speech and remarks from former President Donald Trump, scores of the former president’s supporters descended upon the Capitol and breached the building in an attempt to stop Congress from reaffirming President Biden’s win. Timeline of National Guard Deployment to Capitol
On the day of the Capitol riot on Jan. 6, the first National Guard members arrived to assist at about 5:40 p.m. By then, most of the violence had subsided.
In the critical minutes before rioters had breached the Capitol building around 2 p.m., the chief of the U.S. Capitol Police force and the mayor of Washington, D.C., put out urgent requests for guard backup. But it took more than an hour to get formal approval for their deployment, and then nearly three more hours for the first guard reinforcements to arrive.
The D.C. National Guard reports to the president.
In a recorded video the following day, President Donald Trump claimed that he “immediately deployed the National Guard and federal law enforcement to secure the building and expel the intruders.” But Trump’s claim that he acted quickly is contradicted by news reports citing unnamed sources who say the president initially resisted efforts to bring in the National Guard at the outset of the Capitol riot.
