The Best Restaurants In Puerto Rico, 2021

Thanks to its inventive and visionary chefs, myriad cultural influences, and an incredible natural bounty, the food in Puerto Rico is as exciting and diverse as the island itself. In fact, there’s so much good food here that anyone who settles for mediocre resort fare instead of sampling the island’s incredible culinary offerings should not be allowed on to an airplane to leave until they do. Whether you’re after homestyle comida criolla, fresh-off-the-boat seafood, something elegant paired with a beautiful French wine or boundary-pushing gastronomy, there’s a restaurant in Puerto Rico to suit your taste, mood, or price point. Here are a few of our favorites.

8 Best Gins to Drink Straight in 2020

When it comes to the major spirit categories — whiskey, rum, vodka, tequila, brandy, gin — gin more often than not (along with vodka, depending on where you are) receives the least amount of love when it comes to being a sipping spirit. While whiskey and brandy usually come out on top, aged rums and tequilas are now getting recognition for their sippability.

Woods, R. – LAR (WR)

2021 fantasy player outlook for Robert Woods, WR, Los Angeles Rams (6/23) Advice: Robert Woods’ past three seasons provide enough evidence that he’ll have a shot at very good stats now that Matthew Stafford will plug into the Rams offense. Routinely settling in as a middle-of-the pack No. 2 receiver in PPR, Woods has averaged at least 8.1 targets per game since 2018 and been the Rams’ leader or near-leader in air yards each year. Getting Stafford is a definite upgrade — Jared Goff became a liability thanks in part to an average completion depth in 2020 of just 4.9 yards. Stafford, meanwhile, has helped push at least one teammate into the top 12 in air yards in each of the past three years. He’s a far more aggressive downfield thrower, something the Rams figure to lean on. That’s good news for Woods. At worst, pencil him in as a No. 2 receiver who should average close to 15 PPR points per game (just as he’s done for the past three seasons), but keep in mind that the quarterback change could kick his stats up a notch. Round 4 isn’t too early to take Woods in PPR, whereas he shouldn’t get touched until early Round 5 in non-PPR. (

For many, the belated realization that Covid will be ‘a long war’ sparks anger and denial

In May, when the CDC said fully vaccinated people could ditch masks and social distancing, it seemed to signal a return to normalcy. But epidemiologists cautioned at the time that the move wasn’t likely to be permanent, and shouldn’t be interpreted as the end of Covid-19 as a daily concern. Colder weather or a right hook in the virus’s evolution could bring restrictions right back.

Still, Americans seem shocked by the recent turn of events. Last week, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention advised everyone — even those who’ve gotten Covid-19 shots — to go back to indoor masking, a decision driven by new data showing the hyper-contagious Delta variant colonizes the nose and throat of some vaccinated people just as well as the unvaccinated, meaning they may just as easily spread this new version of the virus, while stilling being protected against the worst manifestations of the disease.

Kyle Pitts Highlights

Florida TE Kyle Pitts finished the 2020 season with 43 receptions for 770 yards and 12 touchdowns.

Cooper, A. – Dal (WR)

Amari Cooper Fantasy Football Outlook (2021) (7/7) Advice: Despite plenty of other receiving options in this offense, Cooper continues to shine for fantasy purposes. Through Week 5 last year – which is when Dak went down with his injury – Cooper was the WR13 in all of fantasy football. Even with Lamb performing at a very high level right away, Cooper was still a fantastic fantasy asset to have on your roster. Heading into 2021, we should see Dallas air the ball out a ton again and Cooper’s going to be the favorite to lead this team in targets. He’s a fantastic high-end WR2 to add to your fantasy lineup. (

Hitler Quotes That Still Ring True Today

Hitler believed it was not the written word of scholars but the spoken word of great men that could lead nations into unforeseen territories. Many of his quotes seem to have been gospel for many world leaders today. Here’s some of his best that still ring true today.

Officer Michael Fanone received threatening, expletive-laced voicemail as he testified about Jan. 6

WASHINGTON — Metropolitan Police Officer Michael Fanone, who suffered a heart attack and traumatic brain injury after being violently assaulted Jan. 6, received a threatening, expletive-laced voicemail on his cellphone as he testified Tuesday about his experience during the Capitol riot.

“I could slap you up the side of your head with a backhand and knock you out, you little f—–,” the caller said in his message, which Fanone shared on CNN.

“I wish they would have killed all you scumbags, ’cause you people are scum,” the man, who used homophobic and racist slurs in his message, continued after repeating former President Donald Trump’s false claim that the presidential election was stolen.

“They stole the election from Trump and you know that, you scumbag. And f—ing too bad they didn’t beat the s— out of you more,” the caller said.

Army leaders praise ‘superstar’ soldier after Sen. Ted Cruz criticizes her recruitment video

U.S. Army leaders rallied around a soldier featured in a recruitment video clip that Sen. Ted Cruz mocked as representative of an “emasculated military.”

Cruz, a Texas Republican, retweeted a video Thursday that featured Cpl. Emma Malonelord, an air defense system operator stationed in South Korea.

The original video, part of a five-part series called “The Calling,” showed an animated depiction of Malonelord’s life and the reasons why she joined the military.

RB Travis Etienne – 2021 Combine/Draft Scout

Etienne worked out at Clemson’s on campus pro day Thursday and was timed at 4.41 in the 40-yard dash by NFL scouts. (Wisconsin’s Jonathan Taylor was the only running back faster at last year’s NFL Combine. He was drafted in the early second round.) The speedy Etienne said he thinks he’s worthy of being a first-round pick. “I’m one of the best skill guys in the draft. I’m able to do it all. I feel like I add that component to take teams to the next tier,” Etienne said. “I feel like me being in the game, I just possess a lot of things that are God-given that most guys don’t possess.”
Etienne, who was named an All-American in 2020, averaged 7.2 yards per carry over the course of his career. As a senior this past season he rushed for 914 yards and had 588 receiving yards. The Louisiana native, who played in an option offense in high school, leaves Clemson as a complete back who can beat you with a handoff, out of the backfield or on special teams. “You see on the film I’m able to be out there three downs,” Etienne said. “I’m able to play special teams. So just being able to impact the team each and every down I feel like is what makes me different and worthy of the first round.” – The State

Fields, J. – Chi (QB)

Could Justin Fields be the second-best (or even THE best) QB in the 2021 draft class? (5/11) Advice: Fields could be a starting-caliber Fantasy option as soon as he is the starter. Think of guys like Lamar Jackson, Kyler Murray, or Jalen Hurts in recent years doing so. Fields wasn’t as prolific a rusher as those guys in college, but he’s got all the physical tools to be a plus rusher. If Fields was going to start from Week 1, I would probably rank him as a top-12 QB for Fantasy. (
