I created this years ago when someone asked for a mezcal tiki drink with a kick.
Today I’m sharing an original drink recipe of mine – the smoky spicy See No Evil! I created this years ago when someone asked for a mezcal tiki drink with a kick. You could say the name refers to the unexpected peppery spice you get on the end, but the truth is “See No Evil” by Television was playing at the time (good song btw). That name stuck and soon others began ordering it. Since then, I can’t say how many times I’ve made this drink. Hope you enjoy it! Cheers!
See No Evil Cocktail Recipe
- 1.5 oz. (45 ml) Del Maguey Vida Mezcal
- 3/4 oz. (22.5 ml) homemade orgeat
- 3/4 oz. (22.5 ml) fresh lime juice
- 3 dashes Tabasco
- 4-5 dashes Angostura Aromatic Bitters (float)
- Grated nutmeg and mint sprig for garnish
- OPTIONAL: Garnish with a mini tabasco bottle
