The Dallas Cowboys head into the 2021 NFL playoffs with the single best offensive line in the game this season, according to PFF’s data. In fact, the top five offensive lines in the NFL will all be playing in the postseason, with the first team to miss out being the Washington Football Team.

Week 3 Waiver Wire Pickups: Sleepers Who May Still Be Available

Week 2 was ugly in the early slate with low-scoring games and QB injuries across the board. Things picked up through the afternoon but the typical surprises that make fantasy football so aggravating at times resurfaced. Touchdown vultures, mid-game injuries, and big-name duds were all present. Nevertheless, we move on to another week to taste the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat.

Jakobi Meyers continues to prove why he’s the Patriots’ No. 1 option at WR

Jakobi Meyers isn’t a household name, quite yet.

The third-year undrafted receiver began making noise his rookie year, but he really started lighting the field up in 2020. Meyers was the New England Patriots’ leading receiver with 59 receptions for 729 yards. He appeared in all 32 games during the first two seasons and he’s been available in the Patriots’ first two preseason games this year.

Trump’s false election fraud claims fuel Michigan GOP meltdown

Joe Biden defeated Donald Trump by more than 150,000 votes in Michigan last November.

Trump and the Michigan Republican Party still aren’t over it.

The outcome — and the former president’s obsessive efforts to dispute it — has left the state party in disarray, raising questions about the GOP’s focus as it looks to unseat Democratic Gov. Gretchen Whitmer in a top battleground state next year.

“From a staff and leadership perspective, I don’t know that top-notch professionals would want to go into this quagmire,” said Jeff Timmer, a former Michigan GOP executive director who opposed Trump. “Unless you’re going to talk crazy talk, they don’t want you there.”

The Original Election Fraud Grifter Is Back to Claim His Kraken Crown—and His Money

Sidney Powell’s absurdist election lawsuits are dead, and the lawyers behind them are facing potential sanctions, but election fraud grifters are still raking it in—one online donation at a time.
Chief among this crew is Matthew DePerno, the Michigan attorney whose November 2020 lawsuit kicked off MAGA-world’s Dominion voting-machine audit craze.
DePerno’s claims in that lawsuit spawned numerous copycats, and they caught the attention of the Trump campaign. But the premier standard-bearers of those claims—such as Powell, MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell, and the right-wing website Newsmax—soon found themselves in the middle of billion-dollar defamation suits.

Here’s what the officers testifying said they want the Jan. 6 committee to investigate

Rep. Bennie Thompson, the chairman of the House select committee, asked the four officers testifying at the hearing today what they want the committee to uncover in their investigation.

DC Metropolitan Police Officer Michael Fanone asked the committee to investigate the organizing of Donald Trump’s “stop the steal” rally and the “violent political rhetoric” leading up to and during the event.

He said that “the time, the place, and the circumstances of that rally, that rhetoric, and those events to me leads in the direction of our president,” referring to former President Trump, “and other members” of Congress and the Senate.

He called for the committee to conduct “an investigation into those actions and activities which may have resulted in the events of Jan. 6,” and whether or not there was “a collaboration between those members, their staff, and these terrorists.”

Metcalf, D.K. – Sea (WR)

2021 fantasy player outlook for DK Metcalf, WR, Seattle Seahawks (6/23) Advice: As the Seahawks offense sputtered in the second half of last season, so too did DK Metcalf’s stats. The gargantuan receiver averaged an unreal 20.6 PPR points per game (15.2 non-PPR) in the first half of the year before skidding to a paltry 12.5 PPR in the second half (7.5 in non-PPR). This despite no major drop-off in target volume (almost one target per game), but a definite drop-off in touchdowns (from eight to two). A playoff-game resurgence may have begun the healing process, but Metcalf simply must improve his consistency and quit dropping passes (11 last year) in order to become a Fantasy mega-stud. He obviously has the potential, he’s got the quarterback, his corresponding run game isn’t improved, and for this year, he’s got a pretty delightful schedule. Trust Metcalf as a No. 1 Fantasy receiver worth a pick beginning in early Round 3 in PPR leagues and the middle of Round 3 in non-PPR. (CBSSports.com)

Trump pumps $348,000 into Ohio GOP primary after Texas loss to avoid going 0-2

WASHINGTON — Former President Donald Trump’s political action committee bought $348,081 worth of advertising in the Republican congressional primary in Ohio’s 15th District, where a Trump-backed candidate is facing a crowded GOP field.

The large, last-minute ad purchase by the Make America Great Again Action PAC was made Tuesday, the same day another Trump-backed House candidate, Susan Wright, lost in a special election in Texas’ 6th Congressional District.

Goedert, D. – Phi (TE)

2021 fantasy player outlook for Dallas Goedert, TE, Philadelphia Eagles (6/23) Advice: Dallas Goedert is expected to be the No. 1 tight end for the Eagles this season, and he has the chance to be a top-five Fantasy tight end in that role. Philadelphia doesn’t have the most dynamic receiving corps, and Goedert could easily lead the team in targets. Zach Ertz is expected to be off the roster, and Goedert should be the focal point of the passing game for quarterback Jalen Hurts. Goedert was a top-10 PPR tight end in 2019 when Ertz was on the roster, and we saw Goedert have some big games in 2020 when he was healthy, scoring at least 11 PPR points in three of his final six games. Goedert is worth drafting with a mid-round pick in all leagues. (CBSSports.com)

Inu Island Ales

Love this spot! It’s not the most aesthetic but that doesn’t matter. The beer is here is special. This is the only place on the island that delivers a proper sour beer. It is truly incredible.

Poke For The People

Great food, nice staff, and call ahead ordering available. The Keiki option is great for my toddler, the adults enjoyed their poke bowls, and the fish is fresh. When calling ahead, ask about their specials too. During the pandemic, the North Shore has been less populated with tourists. Though this may be nice for us locals, it does take away a giant portion of clientele from the eateries out here. So, please consider supporting local businesses!

NFL mock draft roundup: Would 49ers have interest in Mac Jones?

We are less than two weeks away from when some NCAA schools will start to hold their pro days, giving NFL teams a first-hand look at the prospects who will be available during the 2021 NFL Draft.

The San Francisco 49ers hold the No. 12 pick and have several needs on their roster. The secondary will have to be addressed at some point, with nine players from the unit up for new contracts.

RB Kenneth Gainwell – 2021 Combine/Draft Scout

Kenneth Gainwell made it official. His brief, brilliant Memphis football career is over. Gainwell announced Sunday night on Twitter that he declared for the 2021 NFL Draft, a decision that seemed all but certain when he opted out of the 2020 season. He leaves after an All-American freshman season in 2019 where he had 2,069 all-purpose yards and 16 total touchdowns. Gainwell was a unanimous AAC first team selection, a second-team All-American by Sporting News, AAC Rookie of the Year and named Freshman of the Year by the Football Writers Association of America. If Gainwell is drafted, it will be the eighth consecutive year the Tigers have someone selected. – Memphis Commercial Appeal

How Trumpists Prey on Loneliness, and Loneliness Preys on Trumpists

The story of our era may be one about loneliness, isolation, and a lack of community. Scientists tell us that social isolation is as bad for your health as smoking or not getting adequate sleep. COVID-19 took an already bad situation and made it worse. Meanwhile, (anti)social media does nothing to solve the problem, and likely exacerbates it.

Pat Freiermuth Highlights

Penn State TE Pat Freiermuth
Junior 6’5 258 lbs

A lot of people compare Penn State TE Pat Freiermuth to the great Rob Gronkowski. He wears the same jersey number, grew up in New England where Gronk played & he’s just a big strong Tight End who looks very similar in size. Hence why they call him “Baby Gronk.” It’s always high praise when you get compared to someone like Gronk. While it’s not fair to expect Freiermuth to be as good as Gronk, he still has shown that he’sworthy of at least being a Day 2 pick. There’s a reason why he’s currently as one of the top Tight Ends in next year’s draft class along with Kyle Pitts. Like Pitts, Baby Gronk is a complete Tight End.

Beer Lab HI

Just as awesome as the one on University. Staff is beyond helpful and friendly. Excellent selection of beer to choose from and plenty of seating. Wasn’t very crowded for a Sunday afternoon. Will stop again when I’m near this mall.
