Carlos Carrasco failed to make it out of the second inning as Shohei Ohtani and the Angels roughed him up for seven hits and five runs. The Mets bullpen kept them in the game and Daniel Vogelbach got New York closer with a solo HR but the Halos prevailed 5-3.
